I feel that it’s very important that we remember to give each other compliments and verbalize our appreciation for one another. Learning to recognize beauty in people both similar and different from ourselves is an important first step, but remembering to express is truly a way to connect with people.

Girls and women shouldn’t be competing with each other. We should lift each other and support one another. With small things, like compliments, we can empower each other and give that extra confidence boost we all benefit from.

And we must stop comparing our bodies because every body is different.

I still have to learn that for myself. Unfortunately, I’ve often felt the need to compare myself to other women in order to like my own body. But I’m learning that my worth shouldn’t stem from how I perceive other women. It doesn’t matter what people think as long as you love and like yourself.
